Biographie
Ses parents, Jeanne et Daryl Schiff, avaient une ferme juste à l'extérieur du village de Sharon au Kansas (avec 200 habitants). Martina a vécu là jusqu'à ce qu'elle vienne du lycée. Martina a un frère aîné, Steve, une soeur plus âgée, Gina, et un frère cadet nommé Martin (Marty). Marty joue de la guitare dans le groupe de Martina. Martina et Marty sont tous deux nés le 29 juillet, mais Marty a deux ans de moins. Ses deux plus grands succès américains ont été I Love You (# 24) de 1999 et Blessed (# 31) de 2002. En 2008 elle a enregistré un duo avec feu Elvis Presley . C'était le numéro de Noël d'Elvis, Blue Christmas. La même année, elle obtient une étoile au Music Walk of Fame de Nashville .
