Biographie
J. J. Abrams, né Jeffrey Jacob Abrams le 27 juin 1966 à New York, est un scénariste, réalisateur, producteur, compositeur et acteur américain connu pour son travail dans les genres de l'action, du drame et de la science fiction. Il est notamment célèbre pour être le créateur et parfois le show runner de plusieurs séries télévisées à succès (Alias, Lost : Les Disparus, Fringe), mais aussi le producteur d'autres séries comme Person of Interest ou encore le nouveau très grand succès Westworld. Au cinéma, il signe la réalisation du reboot de Star Trek en 2009, et sa suite Star Trek Into Darkness en 2013, puis en 2015 de Star Wars, épisode VII : Le Réveil de la Force. La même année, Lucasfilm et The Walt Disney Company annoncent qu'il sera le producteur des épisodes VIII et IX de Star Wars. Il est également nommé en septembre 2017 réalisateur de l'episode IX.
